Where is Denmark? And what about Scotland? If it's not made in Scotland, it isn't Scotch Whisky. Your poll excludes Scotch entirely.

Tequila - Mexico?

Besides, Beer tastes like p*ss.

Pfft, it's just called Whisky. Anything else is American imitation.
nope.

Deutschland und United States.

Karl Strauss makes one of my favorites, Red Trolley. Yes it's a local brew but I'd give a tick to Germany for his Vaterland.

...What? Were you drunk when you posted this? I don't understand what you're saying.

Scotch whisky is Scotch whisky. It's the distilled fermentation of malted barley. Irish whiskey is similar, only less earthy than Scotch because peat is not used to make it.

As for your "American imitations", Canadian whiskey is a blend of corn, barley and rye. Bourbon is made with a sour mash of mostly corn, with some wheat, rye and malted barley. Tennessee whiskey is similar to bourbon, only it's charcoal-filtered and aged in casks.

Note the common element: corn. Corn being indiginous to North America. Corn being the ingredient the Europeans didn't know existed when they invented Scotch, meaning that American whiskeys are not cheap knockoffs as you suggested.

I like beers from Belgium and Germany a lot, but a lot of domestic brands brew those styles, and tend to be more...inventive (i.e. Rogue).

All alcohol can get you a hang over. It's all about what you do before and after you're done drinking.

Bzzt. Hangover is caused by alcohol, so unless SC has no alcohol, it will result in hangover.

Dont get me started on wines. I could make an entire thread about those....... I'm bigger on wine than anything else. My favorites being Spanish Rioja and German Riesling... with a few California ports thrown in for my woman.

I'm a big fan of the Czech Pilsner. Outside of that, there are some fine, inexpensive beers made here in Canada. They have suited my university budget nicely.
