So today at 1:30pm, i was making a right turn onto winston churchill (north), and i saw a red car coming by about 70 km/h. As it approaches the intersection, a silver car (that was on winston churchill facing south was trying to turn into my street) misjudged the speed of the red car and it got nailed right in the rear wheel. The silver car then spins 180 degrees into the street he was going into, and the red car continues going forward swaying to the left and it T bones me right in the middle. Im one lucky ******* man, if i wasnt as far out as I was, it would hit the driver's side door and smoke the **** out of me.

So the first thing that went in my mind was, "wtf man!" Why is this happening... sigh. I was outragesouly pissed. I had a buddy with me and he got cut by his glasses from the knock back. He didn't hit his head or face on anything, the force shifted his glasses up and cut him! But it was minor luckily.

I tried to open the door, but it was jammed as expected, so my buddy went out of the car and i shifted over to the right and did the same. When i was out, i saw the right side of my car. It was beautiful, freshly washed and everything, 10 years old top of the line Camry that looks good as new. Shining in the sun looking awesome with its pimp curtains! Then I go to the right side of the car, and gave a death look to the silver driver that was about 8 metres away from my car! I inspected the damage and saw this:

When I saw this, I knew I was lucky, very lucky... I called 911, told them what happened. I walked over to the red driver and asked her if she was okay, and she couldnt respond. I assumed she was dazed, but it turned out she couldnt speak from pain, so I requested an ambulance as well.

I hung up, and a Copper came. I looked at the red car, the windshield cracked, air bags blown, leaking gas.... I was like ****....

the guys the witness

I was in shock, and I didnt even walk over to the third car cause i couldnt. 8 meters away was like 8 miles at this point. But I managed to take another picture with my shaking hand.

Next thing I saw, 4 cop cars came, 2 fire trucks and 3 ambulances and 3 tow trucks. The entire intersection was sealed. The two drivers were immediately taken away by the ambulances, i didnt even get to talk to them. So now im just waiting for the Police report so I can give them their info to my insurance company. Im still a bit dazed, a bit pissed, but i know im lucky, and i am very grateful that me and my bud were going ot the hospital to check up in my moms car, and not an ambulance.

So yeaah, i'll update you guys when i know what the damages and how the situation is.

Just because you don't see it doesn't make it any less blue :p

Then it's his fault. Was the guy in the other car color-blind? Because, if he is, you're ****ed.

In all seriousness, though, I'm glad you're okay. I hate to say it, but your car's left side may be technically "totalled". :| I had similar damage done to a car backing into my car's right side, and we had to basically trash the car because the framework on the right side was "totalled".

dude that sucks. glad everyone is ok. hope u can get it fixed/replaced.

I've been in 2 accidents since i moved, both not my fault. first one, some ******* teenies rear-ended me at a stop sign, i fled the scene at that, their car was killed in the front, and i wasn't gonna have them claim it on my insurance. my car didn't take a scratch.

then on the 21st of december, some ******* woman driver decided she had the right of way...turning left to go to walmart (in the pic she would be coming from the road on the right) and there was cars coming down, so she had to wait for them to go by, and there was cars in the lane on my left, so naturally, i expected them to go FIRST, turning to home depot, as i headed up to walmart to go to work, and someone must've been that ****ing goodie-two-shoe and let her out to have her ghost-children, sitting in the rear passenger seat smashed in by yours truly, as i was not able to see past the stupid van to see over in that lane..

that pissed me off so i got out of the car and started yelling.

the intersection (she was on the left lane by the stop sign, turning left, cars were in the lane opposite her, waiting for cars to go down the hill so they could turn into where she was sitting)

main thing that pissed me off was seeing half the grill fly off the car, which is what made me get out of the car and yell and cause a scene.

the cop reported it as no-fault on both us, she tried to file a claim. stupid woman drivers. the funny thing is, she said she didn't know she was hit.

It appears she also caused a bunch of paint chips on your front end.

Wow! Accidents are bad stuff.

Just for clarification, did the intersection have Stop signs?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that its a major street, so it got traffic lights. It was red for me at the time, and the silver car failed to yield right of way.

Alright, I found out that my car has 11, 000 dollars worth of damage. The bodyshop company turns out to work very closely with toyota and lexus, and they only repair their cars. He also said that i have a clean car with low milage. So I might be able to get by with a repair. The things i need replacing are 2 doors, the pillar, and my suspension. It would take approximately two weeks to fix it it all, but thats if they fix it :(

I'm surprised the frame wasn't bent. That's too bad, could've got a new one. At least you won't have to pay for the repairs. They'll give you a "loaner" to drive around in until it's fixed.

Not to get crazy here, but nothing is really a specific color.

Besides, what if it was a sunset, and the sky was purple or red?

Or there was a bad storm and it was green.
