If it's anything like the last 9 tomb raider games, it probably won't be that great.

The difference here is that the company that made the legacy of kain series develop this one, not Core design so it has a chance of being a better game than the rest.

so far it's been good... just can't quite figure out the crushing walls part... the first one is easy the second one... not only is a longer wall but they move faster

They supposedly 'reinvented' the series. Yeah yeah that term gets thrown around a lot, but still, if they just remade the first game with better graphics I'd be happy.

In that first screen drkjedi posted her face looks hideous.
the other 2 don't look as bad. the third looks great, probably because you can't see her face.

Who cares? She's got a balcony you could do Shakespeare from.

I like it. It's Prince of Persia with guns. She's slightly less nimble than the Prince but it's still fun.

Definitely a console game worth investigating.

I just beat the demo just a while ago. It was actually pretty fun :) It's nice to finally play a tomb raider game with GOOD controls for once, not to mention you can use the mouse this time (the game uses standard FPS setup).

The only puzzle that had me stump for a while was the last puzzle where you got to open a door. To open it, you have to push three metal cages onto some floor buttons but two of the cages are down below in the water level so you have to catapult those two up to the upper level. It was a bit tricky to successfully vault them up (you have to jump on the catapult with a bit of force) but once to got them up, it was cake.

I thought those games already died... I still have the first three somewhere.

I think they were getting horny over the CGI shots of Lara at the time, not her in-game shots.
