i don't. so let's do the poor seal a favour and whack it in the melon to kill it quickly.
otherwise it'll either starve to death over a week or so when it gets to old to feed itself, or it might watch a polar bear eat it's belly until it dies.

seems kind of humane to kill it quickly to me.

I dunno, seems better than the way the indians back home go whale hunting. They bring shotties onto a boat and shoot the blasted thing until its body is unusable for anything. Complete waste.

At least, with clubbing, they can use the entire animal and its fur.
