So this morning me and 2 of me mates were sitting in double music bored due to having pretty much having completed the course. So anyway we're sitting playing the cheapy school acoustic guitars and talking; then, as you do we somehow get onto this topic.

How many midgets do you think it would take to take you down?

I reckon the general consensus is 4 .

[We also got onto the same topic, but with angry cats. :/]

You know, that story he keeps talking about upon which rests the sole basis for your perception of him as being 'badass'... if it's not BS, then that guy was pathetic. Kirby isn'ta super-midget, he just happened to catch the world's weakest man. That is, if the story is real.

Calling them midgets is a good way to get them to try to beat the crap out of you, I suppose. Isn't that usually considered a derogatory term?

Regardless...I'd say 2. Just because they're little doesn't guarantee that they're not stronger than me.

I once had four full-sized people jump on me and try to take me down, and didn't succeed.

Of course this was in waist-deep water, so I had a bit more of an advantage.

So I'd say at least four. Then again, after about four or five it's kind of like diminishing returns because there's no way for them to get a hold of you - you're already covered in midgets.

Yeah, I'll go with four.

I onced had 7 full grown people needed to take me down during a football game. It was a slow progression across the field though, what with people draggin behind me clutching to my legs and on my shoulders and what not.

I'm very weak and feeble atm.

When i get healthier, it'll be 10, cos when i'm healthy (and stop smoking) I can outrun anyone, especially 10 midgies.

At Taekwondo, I once fought 9 six-to-ten year olds.

They're practically midgets.

It ended in a pileup... it wasn't pretty.. there were hands.. so many hands.. everywhere..

Using this as a rule of thumb: http://www.mcsweeneys.net/2005/4/8schweiger.html and being a 6'4" former rugby player I reckon I could take on 9 or 10. It really does depend on whether it's an all at once sort of situation or just one by one, in which case I reckon I could go on until I just got plain exhausted :p.

In your photos you appear mincing and verminesque. I'm skeptical that you are greater than 5'4" and 160 lbs, but even if you are an elite football-playing manly man it does not impact your outwardly visage.

There are a lot of variables to consider, but I'd say 4 coordinated midgets, with a good run at me, would be able to take me down. They'd only need to go for the legs, and I can't cover EVERY angle.

I'm not claiming to be no elite football playing manly man. But this did happen. I am just particularly solid. And yes, I am 6'1 and 210 lbs. Obviously thats hard to tell from staring at my face, and/or pictures of me alone.

One time I was practicing Kung Fu when 13 Ninjas broke in and attacked me. They all came at once with knives and swords but I beat them all up. So I'd reckon it would take at least twice that many Ninja midgets to get me, since I am 1 meter tall and 80 kgs.

I can do well against 3 or 4, 7 to 10 year olds.
And that's when I'm being careful not to hurt them.
So if their safety is out then I doubt they'd be a problem.
