the playoffs are near. the next few games are crucial for every single team. i for one am INCREDIBLY glad Montreal got rid of Theodore (Theo Dort... ) and put a real non-rockstar goalie in front of the net. no big flashy saves, but all the important ones, and Huet -is- defensive player of the week according to the NHL, so that's still neat. and he still keeps his cool and keeps kicking ***.

The playoffs this year will be -very- interesting, what with the new rules. i'm just tied to my seat.

and anyone notice how much Jagr is kicking *** like usual and everyone takes it for granted? the guy is an amazing player and literally saved the NY Rangers, compared to the pre-lock out season.

Yeah I'm hockey ish, but since the new rules made heavy, slow teams like the Leaf's not able to use their stratagy, they've been sucking

the leafs are a bunch of goons anyway. hockey is about hitting hard, but it's also about escaping all the checks.

this is why boston and toronto are out of the playoffs. and that makes me glad.

I'm pulling for the Sharks to make the playoffs. Would be a huge acomplishment after the crappy way they started the season.

Yeah. I'm pretty confident the Sharks will make it now. They are playing really well. 3-0 on a road trip this late in the season is awesome.

damn. the devils had a nice game goind tonight. higgins' 22nd goal on his first season, close game. made me slide to my knees in front of the TV several times.

good defeat I say. devils deserved their 6th place over montreal.
