this was that scene from family guy a week or two ago we all had a huge discussion on.

Some thought it was "black guy" while others thought it was "Black guard"

Kirby (the only one who truly thought it was black guard on these forums) already accepted that it's Black Guy. I'd post the timeline if I knew where it was on my computer. For now, have this.

for those who don't play tabletop role playing games or wow or... pretty much any RPG's.... what would it have mattered if he did say black guard?

A fallen paladin is sometimes called a blackguard, and wearing that helmet (Which is evil) would cause this to happen.

It's been a while though.

Wearing the helmet wouldnt do this. However, the helm allows you to cast the disintegration, which can be used in an evil way, which would shift his allignment, but it can also be used in a good way.

A paladin that shifts from Lawful Good doesnt become another class, he simply loses his paladin spells. And it would be really difficult (And really boring, and stupid), for the paladin, who rolls as lawful good, to shift to Blackguard, which is chaotic evil.
