Kittens!
Yes, kittens. Very young, itty bitty kittens. My friend heard a noise yesterday in our backyard, so she looked out and saw these two huddled against the wind. We suspect that someone dumped them in our yard. The black one is a male, and the black and white one is a female. It's kind of a hassle to feed, bathe, mother them...but hey, it's a house of three girls!

I thought everyone needed to know this, so that's why I posted it. Any advice on young kitten (2-3 weeks?) care would be helpful!

The little black one is actually a panther cub!!!

The only advice I have is that whatever you do don't expose them to close range camera flash... say anything closer than 2-feet.

At this early stage in development it can harm and retard the growth of their retina and ocular nerve, impairing their vision forever.

You haven't done that yet, have you?

:p I kid, I kid.

It's a polydactyl. It has six little toes on each foot...all with very sharp claws. :(

Wait 7 weeks til you try chucking your kittens out the window of ~7 story building to see if they'll land on their feet.

They have no names yet. The roommates and I agreed no names until we know they are disease free and can live with our other two cats. You're seeing the making of crazy cat ladys. >_>

It's double pawed. A lot of cats are double pawed, even my kitty has 22 toes (5 on her front paws and 6 on her back). It's cute, she has bunny feet ^_^

(One of them looks more deformed than cute in that picture, but I assure you it isn't deformed at all :p)

LITTLE PURRY DOGS

i dont like cats they poop in my garden and kill birds.

my advice is to hit them from a young age, to make them timid.

dont listen to spe, he's a violent drunk.

Feed the cats lasagne, with red wine. Goes down a treat.

Oh, and...
i dont like cats they... kill birds.
Cats are supposed to kill birds. That's same as saying you don't like humans because they talk or watch TV, or you don't like butterflies because they fly, or you don't like trees because they grow, or you don't like owls because they hunt moles, or you don't like Brian because he runs this site. All they do it naturally. They can't help it, and that's it.

However, considering that, and considering humans and cats, and the basic nature of things, one very important thing is essential to remember: Just like cats are natural hunters and killers, humans as a part of the order primates and Hominoidea superfamily are supposed to endlessly and infinitely torment, pester, and tease cats. That's the basic nature of humans.

they can feel free to kill birds, but leave a dead one in my garden so i have to sort it out, then next cat that is cheeky enough to come into my garden, or even crap there, gets a kick in the ribs.

I'm surprised they're already weened, but the people probably thought it was more humane to dump'em after weening. Model people.

The black one is awesome though, I wish one of our cats looked like that.
