How awesome. Especially since I hate snakes about as much as I hate spiders. Now someone just blow that spider away.

I hate spiders.....except for spiderman. Somehow Return of the King cured some of my arachnophobia, but I still found them vile creatures who needs to be stepped on.

But, spiders eat all the other vermin that wander by. Example: flies, mosquitos, beetles, GBK, ants, bees, etc.

They can be quite useful around the house.

Red Back? Isn't that a Black Widow?

Black widows aren't nearly that big, unless the scale of those pictures is weird.

Looks like one on steroids, heh.

I think it's more the fact that it is entirely silent, small, and deadly, than just deadly that scares people.

How could you know if it was in your room while you slept?

...

Well?

Could you?

My mom had to kill one of those while it was hanging a few feet above my brother while he was sleeping when they lived down there. I'm so glad I don't live in Australia.

You can't know *cue spooky music*. But then, its not like they hunt you. As long as don't go sticking your hands into stupid places they'll never bother you. Frankly I'd be worried about the kangaroos if I was you.

Sometimes the roos go nuts and start chasing people. There's always a few people each year who get their arses kicked by skippy.

This one day I went to change my password, but being the clever chappy that I am, I accidently typed the new pw into the e-mail address bar and clicked submit, hence the slightly modified new user name. Go me and my awesome computer skills.
