ahhhh i think im the happiest chick alive. my parents bought me a new comp. im on it right now

thank god! i dont have the POS anymore! woohoo

My new computer (which im going to name btw lol) is a Toshiba Satellite M65-S821

This thing has a 17' diagonal widscreen, with TruBrite Technology and just tons of other goodies...

I've died and gone to heaven... *gets scared* too many good things have happened...im afraid im going to get bad news of some sort or something, yin and yang and all that...

anywho im freaking out, woohoo

i cant wait to show you all my desktop its sweet!

to summarize...

new computer...laura's happy...died and gone to heaven...happy happy happy :D

Names? My last one was Geoff, and this Powerbook's Catherine.

My iPod is William, my USB key is Gizmo, and my car is Fiona :D

That's gonna be one heavy laptop

As for names, my IBM is just "Lappy". My iPod is "pod". Pretty simplistic stuff :)

My computer at the moment is just 'STANDARD'. I don't know, after 2003 I've somehow started to avoid naming my computer...

My iPod is called iKyoto though, it meant 'pagan' according to my japanese-finnish dictionary. :I

My iPod was once "****ty **** ****", but that was because my friend changed it while I was passed out.

I name all my PCs some variant of PAL with a number after it...

I've been doing it longer than Real Life Comics... damned Greg Dean. :p

In windows my computer is named Holst, after the composer Gustav Holst.

In Ubuntu, its name Copland after the composer Aaron Copland.

The only other thing I've name is my paintball gun. My Angel 06 Speed is named Trogdor. :p

Um, none of my stuff is named really, unless you just count the hostname. "Emon" for my desktop and "Xerxes" for my server.

yeah, I think Imma go with "Harmony" the computer is beautiful, works nice and smoothly, Im using it for Videos and what have you for film, so I think Harmony works :) :D

heh my pc's name is "zooi25", before my hardware upgrade it was "zooi2" and the pc before this was named "Ultrazooi" and before its upgrade it was just "zooi". And my IBM Thinkpad is named "Zooitop".

zooi is dutch for mess. Though you could hardly call my zooi2/zooi25 and zooitop a mess. They are all neat and tidy :)

I used to have interesting names, but I'd forget what PCs they were for on my network when browsing, so I kinda dropped that.

Now they're mostly named for their functions:

Main PC: Studio (Since that's pretty much what it is)
Family PC: Stash (It has a large HD that will never be used, thus I stash stuff on it)
Server PC: Server (ZOMG)
Main Laptop: Pirogoeth
Secondary Laptop: System Control (Runs Linux, and does a bunch of fancy control crap, like music controls in the house, plays videos, and other such stuff. Rarely used as an actual PC, since it doesn't have any software for that)
PSP: Piroko
Really Crappy Laptop: Currently not named anything, since I'm trying to take it apart and see if I can use the LCD for something else, or even just remove the lower portion of hte laptop and just have all the boards on the back of the LCD, tablet-style)

McAfee let Spyaxe onto my computer. Even fully updated, completely on, everything, it couldn't detect it. My parents bought Norton and it detected it immediately.

Well seeing as how I've advocated time and time again that it's better to leave your system unprotected than have it protected by Norton...what do you think?

And AVG is crap. And GAIM is subjectively good, at best. She's using Trillian anyways.
