I will seriously consider using the service you have provided because you have a long and proven track record of forming stable and loving relationships.
2006-04-11, 3:19 PM #11
I will seriously consider bashing your current relationship standards in a somewhat subtle way.

:p

it's not about relationships. it's about dating.

and as a matter of fact i do have a stable and loving relationship. it may not be what society deems conventional but society can go **** themselves.

Okay. So this advice thing obviously isn't meant to foster a relationship with someone who you'd want to spend the rest of your life with.

I can only assume, then, it's an elaborate tutorial on how to conspire to misrepresent yourself by misappropriating resources in a professional environment in a vain and poorly-inspired attempt to cop a feel at a trashy nightclub, with detailed information on how to lie to women and make yourself feel better in some sort of undirected misogynistic rage by posting all of their shortcomings on the internet for everybody to see.

I've generally found that people don't need a lot of encouragement to follow their baser instincts, Evad. Maybe internet dating advice isn't your area of expertise?

jon'c... you just don't like me. and i don't care.

it's a blog about dating. hallo. mcfly. get with the 90's. people go out on dates to chat or to get to know each other. maybe out west in conservativeville dating is only for those looking for marriage and starting a family but here in the east where people are a little more liberal, we like to go out and have fun. sometimes until after 9PM.
it's a blog about dating. hallo. mcfly. get with the 90's.
1.) It's the year 2006.
2.) McFly? Are you sure you meant to mangle that reference? Are you sure you didn't mean the 80s?

LOL, get it guys? he's trying to make himself feel better by implying that people from a different place think differently than he does! LOL!

No. See, I don't think you're qualified to give advice on this subject at all. Given that you publicize your failures with your online e-interweb 2.0 blog, you publicize the failures of your personal / "married" life on here, and you really have no 'successes' to speak of.
Even if I were just trolling for booty, I'd rather trust the advice of someone who has formed a stable and loving relationship because at least his advice doesn't consist of "lower your standards", "pick up girls in bulk", "get a job", and probably won't land me with a psycho who will sleep around behind my back and probably mutilate me in my sleep.

Like I said: Stick to internet humor.

uhhh... it is humour. wow man. you read into everything so literally. relax.
you're stuck in the 80's if you think dating is only for getting hitched and coping a feel. that's why i told you to get with the 90's. grow some insight.

know of what you speak before you speak. so in other words be silent about my so-called failed relationships.
as for the dating, it's all in fun. i'm not even looking for a girlfriend. once again, learn to see the obvious. why would i have a blog about my dates if i were looking for a girlfriend.

you're hilarious.

WAKE UP IT'S THE 90'S!
uhhh... it is humour. wow man. you read into everything so literally. relax.
Your blog is funny. Who pissed you off? Funny.
Giving terrible advice to people who think they actually need it: not funny.

Where to begin with this?

Okay, I'll start with the dumbest part of it: I don't think dating is only about "coping a feel", I think your dating is only about "coping a feel".

Secondly, dating is about getting to know someone - as you said. What happens when you get to know someone and then realize that you don't want them to be a part of your future? Do you break up with them, or are we back to nothing more than "coping a feel" as you put it?

Edit: Thirdly, pointing out the 80's and 90's like they were some sort of period of social enlightenment is so ironic it's sickening.

Man it's getting heavy in here...
I remember reading a Dear Abbey letter a while back that was basically the plot of a simpsons episode... I considered doing a Star Wars one a while back but it just got out of hand with all the variables.

-Dear Dave: My sister kissed me yesterday to make her boyfriend jealous. Is this ok?
