Can admins read PMs?

Because in one thread a while back I remember an admin said that they could see how many PMs a user has. If they can see how many, I don't see what stops them from reading our PMs? So what's the deal? Do you read our PMs for kicks?

Well, to ruin this running gag and give a useful answer:

From the admin control panel, I believe they cannot read other's PMs.

HOWEVER, I highly doubt VB encrypts the PMs, so one could easily check the database and read the PM there.

This is also true. I dont think too many people have direct access to the db though, only brian for sure and maybe osi.
