I'd be further along, but I stopped playing last summer and didn'r start up until a few months back. Was playing DoD:S obsssively.

We should try an organise the half-dozen or so of us to play a couple of rounds at some point.

-- Invade someone's server so both the Americans/Canadians and Brits [well, scots to be honest :p] both have semi-decent pings.

So I'm flying the plane and I drop bombs on an area. Somehow I managed to hit a moving coptor with the bombs. Baconfish nearly escaped alive.

Correction, I did escape alive. The copter was flying above me and I was going to flag it down. As I was looking at the copter I saw him the drop the bombs which were falling right for me, however the bird flew in the way and saved me. :D

[By the way, both the copter and me were on his team. :p]

Yeah me too, but the thing is about the pings... there's no real country between europe and america (in the atlantic) that hosts game servers so it'd have to be either american or european servers.

Probably a show of hands to decide. I'm in. (uk)

America.

Best thing ever is shooting down the Apache or MEC equivalent w/ the M95. I didnt' think that was possible, but it said it could punch thru windshields in trucks and aircraft in the upgrade descrip., so my brother and I ran around as a squad on Sharqi Peninsula and I took out the Apache pilot from the top of the crane with it.

Shooting down aircraft w/ a rifle = the win. It was amazing.

Soon to be sergeant major actually. I took down TWO american choppers with the M95 from full health to explosion - I kid you not.

It took about two rounds of the M95 to blow the choppers, I never even knew it was possible. The pilot was as surprised as me. You just need to hit below the rotors about 8-10 times... I was aiming for the pilots at first but hey I was happy :p
