Awesome. It's amazing what difference a good monitor makes in games even running in the same resolution. Color is so much more vibrant and no more of the sucky dark monitor effect. Not to mention 1600x1200 @ 75 Hz is so nice.

Yeah, upgrading to a larger monitor was a big wow for me. Going from a small little 14 inch to a 19 inch had me tripping for days. It was so freaking huge! I can't even see my speakers anymore, lol. However, using it for about a month now, I've gotten use to it. Funny how when I see my mother's monitor, which is a 14 inch, my eyes hurt from having to look so closely at it just to see what is on the freaking screen. To think that I couldn't get a resolution higher than 1024x768 on the old one. Now I can get 1600x1200, hehe! I only use 1280x1024 right now because 1600x1200's font is too small for comfort.

Heh, not any larger than my old monitor since the price jump going from 19" to 21" is crazy. Just craploads better. Max old monitor could do and still look semi decent was 1280x1024 @ 72 Hz, and at that resolution it was horribly dark. Had to run it really low to get decent brightness out of it. And cranking up the gamma gives you that awful washed out look to everything.

Played BF:V and CoD on it earlier, and it's like playing a new game. Nice to be able to actually see what's going on in dark levels, heh.

Bwahahaha, my 19" goes up to 2048x1536 [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

Things get REALLY tiny at that resolution. But damn does UT look good at that res.

I got a brand new ViewSonic P95f+b around xmas, and its awesome. 19" goodness, with ultrabrite which does an amazing job of making normal desktop stuff work just fine, but when you need to brightness for games and such, you just turn it on and it works FLAWLESSLY. It does an amazing job.. I love this monitor.

The only problem is its a back-breaking 52lbs. or something.

I'll admit to Reactor CTF, Duel Abyss, Duel Turbulent, Duel Dustball, and even the CCCP, but not Sky High! (my first, be kind!) Ok so maybe I will.

I have a funny 17" monitor. This was a so-called better model, when I bought this years ago, and has the max horizontal frequency of 95 kHz (granting me a nice selection of resolutions with a tolerable refresh rate). I'm happily using this with the strange resolution of 1152x864 @ 100 Hz. The picture is as close to perfect as I can tell. Radiant is with this resolution SO much better than in 1024x768.

But it would be nice to have ViewSonic P95f+. Even better without that +, but that better model is not available anymore.

I have a 21" CRT. Only it's about 7 years old now, has a faint image burned into it, and is slowly dying. I've had it at least 5 of those 7 years. What more can you ask for a second hand 21" monitor? This thing has served me quite well. If only I could find a flat panel display I trusted to replace it now...

My max resolution is 800x600. I don't even think I need to mention how much my eyes usually hurt.
