Yeah. Bin Laden is more of a symbol now of a jihadist movement that has grown. Agents like al-Zarqawi are more prominent because they are actively engaging the West. A tape from Bin Laden is supposed to be a morale booster for fighters and an affirmation to enemies that the threat is still alive and well. Nothing more.

Hey isn't bin Laden on kidney dialysis?

How the hell has he survived so long? The five-year survival rate for dialysis patients who don't get a transplant is something crazy like 10%, if I remember correctly.
