Okay, so I'm on dialup right, and I start downloading this file... well, I figured it would take a long time, seeing as it was 60 megs, and I usually only get about 4 KB/s. So anyways, it starts downloading, and it says 21 KB/s, which I figure is just because it had downloaded a bit while I chose what folder to save it in. Wrong. I am somehow getting a SUSTAINED speed of 21 KB/s, FIVE TIMES FASTER than normal. This shouldn't even be physically possible, because this is, of course, a speed of 168 Kb/s, and my modem is only a 56k... and it says its connected at 42.5k.
Anyways, I have a screenshot of my phenomenally fast download speed, but the image corner doesn't seem to be working.
Crazy stuff.
