Hey, I remember writing some of those reviews. Reviewing levels was a lot of fun. I think this was the lowest score I ever gave a level. :p

I loved Massassi reviews. My best (online) friend about 7 years ago was Red_XIIII, and he created MOTS levels, of which a few got reviewed. I always wanted to be on the staff for reviewing levels, and so I was dissapointed to see that disappear.

JK came out in late '97, didn't it? I thought the peak was somewhere around 1999 - 2000.

Apparently, I was wrong. But I used to enjoy going back through the JK mods/levels section and downloading mods to play with in SP.

Whoa! I'm amazed to see this still kicking around. What about other services, like JKMPG (I think), or the JKBTG? Ah... those were the days.

Hmm... I think I remember another JK review site, too, that tended to take bad levels and make fun of them. (I think they rated things on a -50 to 50 scale...?) I think they even did a level of mine. Does anyone remember what I'm talking about?

I remember a lot of reviews at the Admiral's Command Chamber. Don't recall much about Massassi reviews.

I just looked over Derra IV's review again. That level was so awesome.

Hyperview? They've been down for a few years, at least, but it was a good site.

I only had this level reviewed, and boy was that reviewer generous. I remember always refusing to bother doing any lighting in any of my maps because of how badly JK's lighting system pissed me off. There's even a hidden SuperShield in the map that I planted just so that no one would beat me in my own map, haha. Those were the days.
