GANG/CREW NAME______________

CRIB _________________

1. Ramone has an AK-47 with a 30 round clip. He usually misses 6 out of every 10 shots and he uses 13 rounds per drive-by shooting. How many drive-by shootings can Ramone attempt before he has to reload?

2. Otis has 2 ounces of cocaine. If he sells an 8 ball to Antonio for $320 and 2 grams to Juan for $85 per gram, what is the street value of the rest of his hold?

3. Rufus pimps 3 ho's. If the price is $85 per trick, how many tricks per day must each ho turn to support Rufus's $800 per day crack habit?

4. Dave wants to cut the pound of cocaine he bought for $40,000 to make 20% profit. How many ounce bags will he need to make to obtain the
20% profit?

5. Desmond gets $200 for a stolen BMW, $150 for stealing a Corvette, and $100 for a 4x4. If he steals 1 BMW, 2 Corvettes and 3
4x4's, how many more Corvettes must he steal to have $900?

6. Tom got 6 years for murder. He also got $10,000 for the hit. If his common-law wife spends $100 of his hit money per month, how much money will be left when he gets out?

7. If an average can of spray paint covers 22 square feet and the average letter is 3 square feet, how many letters can be sprayed with 3 eight ounce cans of spray paint with 20% paint left over?

8. Tyrone knocked up 3 girls in the gang. There are 27 girls in his gang. What is the exact percentage of girls Tyrone knocked up?

9. LaSheena is a lookout for the gang. LaSheena also has a Boa Constrictor that eats 3 small rats per week at a cost of $5 per rat. If LaSheena makes $700 week as a lookout, how many weeks can she feed the Boa on one week's income?

10. Marvin steals Joe's skate board. As Marvin skates away at 15 mph, Joe loads his 357 Magnum. If it takes Joe 20 seconds to load his piece, how far away will Marvin be when he gets whacked?
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

There's way too much cultural bias in that test.

You'd kill a snake by feeding it that much.

Given what Monday was I'm suprised that they didn't change the names to things like "Juan" and "Rico" and "Pedro".

edit: They should make a pirate version.

if he gets 440 feet away, he's probably not gonna get whacked.

Actual Test Answers:

1.) Three. He just gonna have to make those last 4 bullets count for somethin'. After all, he's got about a 50% probability of hittin' somethin' with them.

2.) Actually, it depends on the situation. The question doesn't tell how the rest would be sold so it's difficult to calculate exactly how much the street value would be.

3.) He could probably rip a deala' off for $765, so that would mean they'd have to do 3 tricks a day each. But he'd be lucky if they did that. Them ho's be lazy. Most I could ever get them to do a day is 2.

4.) I don't really know. Until he runs out? He's gonna need to do a whole lotta' dealin' if he wants to make that kind of turn-around.

5.) Six, dummy! But he's gettin' ripped off on them vettes.

6.) $2800, but the i'm gonna pimp the money back outta the *****.

7.) 17, but why the hell would you not use the last bit? Much better to get 22 letters outta the ****.

8.) 11.11111111 is what this piece of **** is tellin' me.

9.) 46 and a half weeks. Damn, good thing ho's can support themselves...

10.) Not far enough. HA HA!

City 17 is not like LA because the LAPD would be doing more beatings.

How many hits and misses he gets is useless information. They only asked how many drive bys he could attempt if he uses 13 rounds per drive by.

He can attempt three because after the first two he still has 4 more bullets in his clip. It doen't say he has to have 13 bullets to attempt, only that he uses 13 bullets per drive-by. Slight difference. ;) The ~50% probability is just something extra I threw in there...

I was going to attempt number 2, then I remembered that an ounce is imperial and a gram is FREAKING METRIC!

Oh, and what the **** is an 8-ball?
nope.
2006-05-03, 9:58 AM #23
If I remember correctly, it' around 8 grams (I believe). 4 grams would be half an 8-ball. The more you devide, the more you can make. If you sell two half 8-balls you can actually come out about $50 to $75 ahead (depending on the quality, who and where you're selling, etc). There's actually a lot of economics behind it.

How do I know this, you might ask? My wife's Uncle deals.

*DESCLAIMER: I do not and have not ever been involved in drugs in any way nor to I promote or recommend anyone get involved in such things. My wife's Uncle lives a very paranoid life. In fact, for the first year, he was convienced that I was an undercover cop snooping out his operation. Also, from how it was described to me, it's not as profitable as you might think. The only way you could make a descent amount of money off of it is if you "cooked" and sold the stuff yourself. The penalty for getting caught doing this is quite harsh.

Yeah...

if it said 'how many drive-bys could he accomplish', then I might agree it was 2.

Well, he still has the same probability of hitting a single target at least once even with 4 bullets. So it's still possible for him to accomplish 3 drive by's. The questions are worded poorly. I don't think there were ever meant to be worked out an answered.
