I'm more surprised that I didn't notice it myself. I only live less than 2 hours away from Los Angelos yet I didn't feel anything. Maybe it could be because I was asleep or that the quake wasn't too strong to travel that far. I was surprised when I heard the news off of Yahoo.com.
