I would like to extend to you an invitation to the pants party....I mean lack of pants party.

That's right. Today, May the 5th, is No Pants Day. So who's honouring this most sacred of days? I can't, unfortunately

. My grandparents are coming up, and it's fairly cool out anyway. But that doesn't stop the rest of you, so free yourselves!

No doubt. The subtlty of my comment, however, is that if you make No Pants Day a day that is not already a party day, you get an extra party day. See how that works? :p

Hmmm, seems they weren't very clever picking the day, indeed. No matter. I'll have my own pantsless celebration later. Everyone mark August 26 on your calendar as the unofficial no pants day. I'm going to set aside my best pair of boxers, and a 24 of ale.

if you read the site, you would know that No Pants Day is always the first friday of may, which this year happens to be Cinco de Mayo. next year, we'll have friday AND saturday in which to party.

History of No Pants Day (from memory):

Celebrated in Austin, Texass mainly. It's fitting. Some believe it's the origin there. Other say it came from Europe 20 years ago as a tradition.

No Pants Day is on the first friday of May. Which happens to be May 5th or "Cinco de Mayo". Next year it's on May 4th.
