Trapped miners rescued

This is an amazing story of human survival. These two guys were trappped on April 25th after a rock slide encased the small steel cage they were working in 1 kilometer underground. The cage was so small they couldnt even stand up. The slide was huge and instantly killed one of their co-workers.

This morning, after 14 days, rescuers finally reached them and they walked out of the mine. They're expected to be out of hospital within an hour or two.

Amazing stuff.

There was a very small tunnel (tube really) leading down to the miners that allowed them to get food, water and other goodies.
