The president of Lucasarts was on G4's E3 live show only a little while ago, and he was asked some questions which I am sure you all are very curious about.
The question was posed about what would happen with the old classic titles from the glory days, such as Monkey Island and Full Throttle.
The president's response was that there were no plans in the near future for any games from that era. His reasoning is he is pressing his development crew to create brand new games which are BETTER than the old classics. He said maybe around 2015 (I think he was just throwing a number out) they would look into making games in those universes, but he said he wants the company to avoid the mistakes made by new movies such as Bewitched. He said that (paraphrasing) it is simply too early for new games in those universes.
If any more information comes out from E3 concerning Lucasarts and future titles, I'll be sure to keep you all up to date.
