Yeah, I can understand that. That's cool. It's the whole "making new friends over MySpace" thing I guess I can't appreciate.

I was gonna say making friends over the internet period, but I think it does work in some places.

Cazor: well congratulations, but I honestly think the chances of encountering someone through MySpace who qualifies as anything above "acquaintance" is pretty slim. I'd assume at the very least that it'd require persistant supervision to meet someone you like, which for someone like me who overuses the computer anyway would be a chore.

I mean, I dunno, I just find maintaining a social life through computers to be unnecessary. IM and chat are the closest things I get to that. I'm tired of computers period.

I've found a few of my friends from way back before instant messengers were really common. Plus if you've moved away from where you went to high school (assuming you've been out of HS for awhile) its amazing to see how many of your old classmates turned gay/bi and openly admit it on their myspace (wheras there was no idication that they were other than "straight" when you last knew them)
