So after two days of basically not leaving the house (due to lost wallet :mad: ), I let the whiskers grow out. When I went to finally shave I pondered on the look below.

If you let grow for a few more days it might look good. Right now it just looks unshaven...

Yeah. You have to give it a good week for it to really show, but I'd say that there is potential there. You also might want to opt for just the chintee. It's worked for me.

Why have a goatee in the first place? Go for the full beard look or the 5'oclock shadow look. Goatees were "in" about 10 years ago and they never really should've been. I really don't like them.

If I were you I'd just not shave every couple of days, especially since it doesn't look like your facial hair grows all that fast. Go rugged.

Not true. A lot of girls I've met have always said that guys that shave are the "norm" and so unshaven guys seem more exotic. It's kind of dumb, but I've heard it more than once.

It has nothing to do with in. It has to do with how it looks. Some people can pull of the goatee, others can pull off the 5 o'clock shadow look.

i'm on again off again with a beard. i never do anything fancy with it, i think goatees looks tupid, and if i just had a mustache i'd look too much like my dad. its either full out beard or nothin. everyone but the siblings of my g/f like the beard. when i shave and let it grow back, my g/f's all "hello facial hair! i missed you!" in that picture, you look like the guy from saw who you think was the mastermind, but was only a "player" in the "game"...

also he was on lost for like 6 episodes before he escaped.
