Yeah. I sent a thing to my congressmen. I was going to post a thread but never did. It looks like you beat me to it. ;)

I hope we're able to save it.

I'm haven't really seen any negative affects of government regulations on the internet. Maybe I need to see more of the web.

There seems to be alot of vague, generalizing statements made.

Oh my God. This is the Telecoms saying "the big net companies like Google are using all of the internet for free." The big problem with that argument is bandwidth is allready being paid for. Poeple pay for their access to the net. Companies like Google pay for teh bandwidth they use. And the owners of the "backbone" want to charge AGAIN. The telecoms want things like VOIP and online video to have to pay more for "reliable delivery" even though the bandwidth that is being used is already being payed for TWICE. Net Nuetrality is a big deal that will affect all of us, and this is propaganda from the Telecoms. Don't listen to it, do your own research and form your own opinions instead of the one they are cramming down your throats.

That's okay. The people who don't like it will start another network.

This has been going on for years. The phone companies tried this when people accessed through modems because data was going throught their phone lines.
