I thought that the move flowed nicely. I think just about anyone could have played Langdon (at least as well as Hanks did...maybe Nicolas Cage could have added that little something extra). Other then that, I thought the casting was pretty well done. The actor who played Silas is an extreamly good actor and it's a tragedy that his character prevented him from really being able to demonstrate his acting ability (i really liked his characters in a Knights Tale and Masters and Commanders).
