So it looks like I'm going to be homeless this summer...

But it's totally cool, because it's by choice. I'll be working with at risk youth in the woods, and on my weeks off I'll be living out of my car and a tent. Spending nights in the woods and what not. So I may post occaisionally, whenever I head back to campus to take a shower and check my email, but I won't be around too much for the summer. I'll try and post pictures when I do get access to a computer though. Hope everyone has a good summer. :)

Hmm... well I'm planning on getting a job later this year, and saving up for a small used car and moving out of my parents house. Guess that means I'll be homeless in 2 years 1 month and 17 days.
Nothing to see here, move along.

I played a homeless guy in my friend's movie. It's kind of fun. At working with freaky kids should be a blast.

Be careful not to get shot for your coat by other hobos and these "Risk Youth".
I had a blog. It sucked.

At Risk Youth = youth who are in trouble with the law, or kids whose parents cannot control them. Usually, the problem is with the parenting, which unfortunately we cannot correct. Our job is pretty much to provide positive role models, direction, and other stuff to try and correct their behaviors. We teach them how to handle problem solving in the woods, giving them skills and self-esteem that they need to be better people in society.

So yes, basically, it's brat camp. But there's no drill sergeants or anything like that, and the groups are never larger than 8 kids, and its all done in wilderness areas.

But wouldn't the kids do trouble? How do you control them in the big, open woods?

He has a gun. Several guns, actually.

He takes an armory with him, as well as the Russian army. They're making a one mile radius circle around the kids, and they're all armed with P-90, grenades, and super-futuristic cloaking deviced.
I had a blog. It sucked.

He poisons random breakfast items, and, if a child misbehaves, he doesn't give them the antidote at the end of the day.

Next time he logs on, he would be using a computer made of wood.
