This summer, I'm planning on having tons of mad gaming with a friend of mine, more than in the past. I want a list of offline FPS's on PS2 and GCN that I must have for either

  • Deathmatch
  • Team Deathmatch
  • CTF
  • Co-Op


We've played Future Perfect, SC: Chaos Theory, and Ratchet: Deadlocked, and we loved them all. I'd prefer FPS's like I said, and I don't want completely new games (not gonna lay down $50 for one game).

Something that I could have a load of fun in SP, and then have my friend over and go mad in co-op with him, killing everyone and laughing about it.

I dont know if the old Ghost Recons have co-op, but the one on 360 does and it rocks. Might be worth looking into the original or GR2.

James Bond game from last year Everything or Nothing had decent FPS co-op, and you could probably find it in a bargain bin somewhere.

Not exactly an FPS, but my friend and mine's favourite co-op game is Return of the King. If you like hack 'n slash games and / or LotR, definitely check it out.

SUPER SMASH BROS for gamecube. I know its not an FPS, it just plain doesn't matter.

Played it, we're more or less rivals in the game :P

Played that too, we both love it as well, but I anyway want something tactical such as SOCOM or GR that we can co-op in (sniper nest camping and heavy weapons rush).

I'll see if I can find Conflict: Desert Storm 1/2, or Conflict: Global Terror, but keep 'em coming.
