A five hour battle?!

I liked how the center director said something along the lines that although he preferred people released sharks back into the waters, he was glad that this dude had donated the shark to science so we could better understand the species.... when the article said it was to be mounted and displayed. I don't think that kind of hunter's trophy understanding is the same as the emotional empathy with another species understanding the director was talking about.

That's pretty amazing.

I saw a school of hammerheads while scuba diving. Unfortunately I don't know what variety of hammerheads they were, but it's very surreal to look up from an underwater canyon to see 20-30 of those things swimming above you.

Makes me wanna play Jaws: Unleashed.

Yeah the shark is heavy, but it doesn't look all that big compared to other sharks.
