The only girls that play video games are either faking it, or play the Sims.

I've seen and played with a lot of women in CS. In fact, I had one in my clan in CS 1.6, and she was pretty good. Pretty cool too.

Girls play a lot of games that they didn't used to. They're moving into the space that guys used to dominate.

I once went out with a girl whose favorite games were Grandia, FF7 and Resident Evil. I should have married her. That was like 5 years ago. Damn. :(

My one college friend, An, really likes her videogames. She lent me her copies of the Prince of Persia games and F-Zero GX for the Gamecube.

Girls into videogames exist, but they hide and/or have already been snagged by another guy. Much sadness. :(

Often both.

Just like their male counterparts.

It's a conspiracy to stop those types from breeding; keep both of them indoors behind their PC's, while the non-gamers of both genders are able to frolic outside.

Actually, this chick was really hot. So was her other friend who joined the clan. It's pretty funny because after I met them I told my friend who lived near them, and he ended up meeting them at a cybercafe nearby.

when i visited columbia for open house i went to a seminar on their video game development, and there were two hot as hell girls there(and two... alright ones). the speaker who was one of the main teachers in the subject also happened to be a woman, and she said it was weird that there were so many girls there (more than guys).

but there were so many more attractive ones in the journalism department.

wait, what was this thread about again?
2006-05-31, 11:23 PM #20
nope, it's a rule. 300 lb moustached female gamers are banned from all groups.

My might-have-been-the-one girl was a major geek, played games, watched Anime, played RPGs, everything, and she was hot, too...
Well, I thought she was hot. Most of my friends thought she was ugly/a lesbian.

-Well, she was admittedly bi, but dammit she was a red-head, and I can't say no to redheads, as I've already stated.

My girlfriend used to play a lot of (violent) videogames, and she's dang good at them too. Two of the most skilled members of my JK clan are girls. It's nothing new really... I'm glad more and more girls are getting into gaming.

What I don't get is... when talking about girls playing games, why do people need to discuss their looks? What has that got to do with gaming at all? Sexism will never die. *sigh*

When guys talk about girls doing anything, they usually talk about their looks.
