just because I like to change it around so much.....

found it online, got the idea for it from one of my fav. Poems...

Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

Lassev, you need to do vector tracing. It looks a lot better, and can be infinitely scaled.

New shell, no longer using WB or Sysmetrix. bbLean now, and I'll probably stick with this one.

Aye, I suppose I should. I just developed a distaste for vectors a long time ago. Well, so, I have no real reason not to. It's just that I like to work with my Wacom... Can you do vector tracing in PS, or do you need Illustrator?

The problem with this particular picture was that it's made from screencaptures from the video, and the compression artefacts are / were quite severe, and there's fading in and out going on during that part of the video. It hasn't actually been scaled up more than about 10%.

Photoshop can do vector tracing (Although its easier in Illustrator).

And I use my wacom to do the vector traces, makes things much easier.
And I use my wacom to do the vector traces, makes things much easier.
Ho... That's very interesting and good to hear. I'll need to have a look at it some time. I didn't think wacom was much good for vector work, and thus I had little interest in vectors. But now that you corrected that misconception, one wall has been torn down.

Well, it's nice because you can lay the points down exactly, you get a lot more control than you do fighting with a mouse. What would take me ten minutes with a mouse might only take me five with a wacom, just because I don't have to go back and fix points all the time.

I've been playing around with emerge. It's not as lightweight as I would like it to be, but it's modular enough I can just kill the components I dont need at the time.

Half Life 2, beta, I think it's the Borealis.

Anyways, though it changed briefly (Black Mesa Source desktop and some others I can't remember so well now), it's back to this Sin City-esque Inspektor Gajyt.
