... Just discovered today that my algebra class for the summer started YESTERDAY, not today. Because of that, I was dropped from the class. The class was full so there wasn't an option for me to add either. That sucks because now I have absolutely NOTHING to do for the next three months. I guess I can try to go hunting for a summer job now but I'm pretty sure they are all filled because of all those teenagers out there. Oh well... at least now I have more time to work on my various projects on the computer. Not that is a really good thing or anything.

Oh yeah, I would like to point out that it wasn't completely my fault for not knowing that the first day was yesterday because I had full faith in believing what my mother told me was the first day. She really had me convince that today was the day. I think I better not make that mistake again and actually check the date myself next time.

On the upside, as you said, you now have more free time to work on your own stuff. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

That's unfortunate. Will you be able to get a refund of the fees you had to pay in order to register for this class?

Also, I am stuck in the same job-less situation. Damn high school kids are stealing all the jobs we college students need to pay for school.

Hell, that's nothing. Once i was so burned out at the end of a semester that i missed the final exam for a class i was getting an A in. I though the exam was on thursday when it was really on tuesday. I failed it and now have to retake the class. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

F*** uni. They're more of an obstacle than an asset at times.

I heard that they keep the money set aside in case you want to use that money to sign up for classes in the next semester if the money isn't used in the current semester. However, I'm sure they if I went to the admin and asked for it back, they should give it back. The class was $99 (5 units) so I REALLY hope they do refund that back if I request it.

I don't know about you, but being stuck in the house with no money to spend for that long and having nothing but the computer to kill time can cause one to go stir-crazy after a while. Although, I've been going to school non-stop for two years now. I guess a little break would be nice.

Well, looks like it was my fault after all. Apparently I must had told my mother that school started on the 22nd a few weeks ago and not the 21st. Because of that, when I asked her a few days ago when it started, she said it was the 22nd. Because I forgot about my previous mentioning of the date to her, I didn't question her about the date. My mother just got home a few minutes ago and yelled at me for telling her the wrong date. Looks like I'm in hot water for a while now.
