Since Christopher Eccleston is the only doctor to be seen here in the US, he gets my vote.

Blame my parents for not having their first child (me) until '91.

Anyone that can use the excuse "I'm a doctor" and get away with it a million times is just plain sweet. My vote goes to Dr. McCoy

This is also true for me. Although I'm wishing I discovered this sooner.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Saying "I think he's dead, Jim" whenever I see a CS player go nuts on some guys corpse with a AK47 is always good fun. ;)

Paul McGann was the first one in the states in the film version (which wasn't great to be fair).

Just a geeky FYI

People often make the mistake that the name of the Doctor is 'Doctor Who'. When infact it's just 'Doctor', and that the title of the program is infact a question.

Doctor Who?

Just incase. Of course, you already knew that :v:
Magrucko Daines and the Crypt of Crola (2007)
Magrucko Daines and the Dark Youth (2010)
Magrucko Daines and the Vertical City (2016)

In fact it's 'The Doctor' to give him his full name :P

The guy with the scarf. Which one is that?

That would be Tom Baker.

Tom Baker was the best. Classic stuff.

The new doctor who series makes me weep.

Did anyone who watched the latest episode of the David Tennant series (The Impossible Planet) think that the noises for the doors in the base came straight from the original Doom game?

I'm enjoying the new series, but Tom Baker FTW.

The door sound effects from doom came from a very large, very often commercially used sound effects library.

Alot of older games didn't have in-house sound production, and insteadl paid licensing fees to use a sound effects library. Theres probably something in the credits for doom.

Yeah, I can't count the instances I've heard sounds from Doom in various movies, TV shows, etc. Most common one I hear is the Imp sound. That thing is everywhere, and is used for just about every animal that has some sort of frightening sound, heh.

As far as Dr. Who, only one I ever really saw much of was Tom Baker.

As far as doctor series and shows go, there is only one show I can stomach. Dr. House. I just love that show.
Nothing to see here, move along.

SILLY

Doctor Who isn't about a medical doctor, it's about a time-travelling awesome who goes around saving the day in various implausible and ultimately laughable situations. But somehow, it doesn't suck.

Doctor Who is one of those shows where you just HAVE to take it on face value. Thinking about it is futile. XD

David Tennant gets my vote, he was the first Doctor I ever saw. >.>;; (Behold! A Doctor Who noob!) Since then I've also seen 8 episodes of the Eccleston season. A good Doctor too... but he just doesn't have that charistmatic high energy, nearly manic flair that the 10th Doctor has.
Seishun da!
