I was washing the dishes and I turned on the radio. I hear the NBA finals. I think to myself, "I bet no one even cares." So off to Massassi I went...

I'll add a poll (if it'll let me) to see what Massassi thinks.

Basketball is mildly interesting to play and boring as hell to watch (but not as boring as tennis).

Considering basketball is also a sport that is practiced and played in many other nations as well, and also in which the NBA of America broadcasts to many many many other nations, I don't see how you can say it's "Ameritrash". In fact, I think that was a bit innapropriate, because I don't think that it's very cool to be trashtalking our events in America, regardless if you like the country.

Actually if I had to watch a popular sport which wasn't soccer, I'd probably pick Basketball. I find it much more interesting than baseball and American football. Saying that, I might rather watch hockey, but I've never really seen a hockey game for more than 10 minutes before, so I don't know if I'm missing anything. :gbk:

Let's see....Dwayne Wade is spectacular. The Heats have tied the series at 2-2. There are questionable calls such as Stackhouse being suspended for Game 5 just because of a flagrant foul on Shaq in Game 4. Morale seems to be strong with the Heats after winning two games in a row at home. Sunday's night game is at Miami so the momentum is in their favor.
