What kind of watch do you wear, and which wrist do you wear it on (poll in a minute)?

I wear a Fossil Blue (yay for birthday gifts) when I'm not doing sports, but when I'm doing something athletic or somewhere where my watch may get banged up I use a cheap Timex (I think) digital because it's lighter and more durable.

Also, right handed but wear it on my left wrist.
I had a blog. It sucked.

Pocke****ch. With a lanyard I made myself. But yeah, I can only stand a watch either in my pocket, or on my left wrist. But I've got a turks head tied around my wrist now, and cant fit a watch.. So I became awesome and got a pocket watch.

It's generally the rule I believe to wear it on your left wrist if right handed. That way it doesn't get in your way while writing

I'm right handed and wear it on my right wrist, which bugs the crap outta my mates for some reason. But hey, I also use a fork in the wrong hand, but change to the correct [British way] hands to cut things before switching again.
nope.

I wear a Citizen Eco-Drive that Liz bought me. It's a $500 Titanium beast. :D I love it. No batteries and it weighs almost nothing.

Right handed, right wrist. Fo' rizzle.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

I don't have a watch, so I voted for pocket watch because I have a pocket

I had a 30 year old pocket watch that was made in the USSR, but I lost it. :( The chain was pretty flimsy, so it broke and the watch fell out of my pocket.

I have a belt loop watch, but the batteries are dead.

I'm going to buy either another nice pocket watch, or one of these (and wear it on my left wrist):

ThinkGeek also used to have the Midas Remote Control Watch which would be nice for going to the bar and switching from baseball to World Cup, but alas it seems that they don't sell it anymore. :(

Right handed and left wrist. I really should switch for a few days. I've got this massive white band from wearing my watch outside while working. Oh, and Walmart watches are good. They're cheap, and they do seem to last a while.

Righthanded, on the left wrist. It's a Timex Expedition of some sort. Water proof, durable, good battery life. I only take it off for sports.

right handed and right wrist even though that goes against the usual rule. What can I say? I'm a rebel. :ninja:

I never wear a watch any more (although if I want to find out the time, I'll check my phone). However, when I did wear a watch (and I'm right handed), I wore it on my left wrist.

I used to feel naked without a watch, but I've been going without one for months.

I guess you could say I've become a nudist.

I used to wear it on my right wrist (I'm right handed,) but for some reason I now have it on my left wrist...I think there was something with that story, but I forget it. I wear some $5 Walmart watch. All I cared was it was green and was water resistant.

I don't wear a watch, I check my phone. But when I did wear one back in middle school it was on my left wrist and I'm left handed.

I'm awesome and use a pocket watch

And I also wear a zoot suit.

I used to wear mine on my left wrist (right handed), but the battery died, and I haven't bothered to go get it replaced. I'm getting used to being timeless now. It's probably best. Having a watch would make my back-breaking work days seem even longer, methinks...

Left - Left. Although I really haven't worn a watch in several months. The desk in my last dorm room I don't think was with the same set that the chair was for, being higher than it should, and my watch rested right on the corner of the desk where my wrist was. Seeing that it wasn't helping the onset of carpal tunnel, I stopped wearing it, stopped playing Jedi Outcast for hours at a time, and this room has a keyboard drawer, and the carpal tunnel has faded :)

I'm wearing a cheap-o digital watch from Timex :D It's great even though it's slightly too big for my wrist even on the smallest setting.

I have a cheap, durable watch that I bought at Walgreens like two years ago. Everything still works perfectly except for the seconds part of the LCD display from when a car hit me on my bike.

I always go for the inexpensive, utilitarian designs. Bling has never been part of my consumer identity.

Casio Edifice on my left wrist. I'm left-handed.

I haven't worn a watch since 2001, I check the time from my cellphone.

But if I had a watch, it would be on my right wrist. For I am right handed.

Pocke****ch.

Not really, just wanted to see if it really did censor the t-word that you can find in there.

I'm left handed, and wear my watch on my left wrist. It just feels more natural there. It's a silver Seiko, because my Grandad used to swear by them. One of the motion powered ones.

Righty, left wrist. Standard watch, though with a double, wide leather bands.
2006-06-18, 3:33 AM #31
I have 10 watches.

Most of them are Swatch.

2 of those are ORANGE!

I used to wear my watch on my left wrist (I'm right handed).
Now, whenever I actually wear a watch, it's always on my right wrist.
I'm not sure why I changed, but sometimes it just feels more comfortable on my right. It doesn't get in my way when I'm writing or working, so I figure why not.

Right handed, left wrist.

I never wear a watch when I'm at home. It's just a bother. When not at home, I usually take it with me, if I remember. The watch I'm usually using is an ancient digital Q&Q (I often joke it must be the first digital lcd watch in Finland...). Seriously, I don't even know how old it is, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was as old as I am... It's steel and badly corroded and worn here and there from years upon years of use.

Well, when I'm wearing a suit for some formal occasion, I use a somewhat finer looking watch.

I put it on my left.

It's a nice Swiss Army watch. Anything Swiss is magically reliable.

Citizen Sapphire. I got it as a graduation present.
Right-handed, left wrist.

Titanium-grey. Metal clasp lock. Dark blue dial. White glow in the dark indicators. Date-indicator.
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.

I had a pocke****ch. But now I just use my cellphone for a watch, since it tells the time.

Ahahaha...gotta love the censoring, eh? :P

I don't wear a watch -- use my phone to check time. I'll be getting another one eventually, though...have one now, (similar to this - Seiko Sports Chronograph 150), but it needs a battery & a cleaning (rotating dial is impossibly stiff). I'd like to pick up something like this eventually.

My father gave our family's pocke****ch, something passed down to each and every son in my father's side of the family since a long time ago to my LITTLE COUSIN.

I think that's saying something. Because of this traumatic event in my life, I DON'T like watches.
