Follow the instructions at the bottom of the page. If you do it, it *always* works. If you don't, then it won't. If you pick some number at random, click the crystal ball, and check the symbol with the math you should've used, it doesn't work.
Basically, if you don't think through the math, it doesn't work.
I can't for the life of me figure out how this works. All you do is think, then click on the crystal ball.

simple.

Basically what it does is predetermine the symbol. Then, it places that symbol at every number that it's possible to get by subtracting the digits...

For example, if the symbol is "$" then a $ will be found in correspondence to:

9 (11-2, 12-3, 13-4, 14-5, 15-6, 16-7, 17-8, 18-9 19-10), 18 (20-2, 21-3, 22-4, 23-5 etc..)

Basically every time you follow the steps, you'll get a multiple of 9, and every multiple of 9 has the predetermined symbol.

I remember this thing, I found it a long while back. I won a fishing rod by betting with my buddy that I knew how it worked. I'm now one fishing rod richer, although he was in denial for about a week before he finally admited defeat. Fun, fun fun.

Nice little site, i've seen quite a few different versions of them but they all do the same thing. The first time i saw it i couldn't work out how to do it then i noticed that the symbols changed and worked it out.

that's a good question... It didn't even do anything that I could tell. I counted off my five cards, dealt the ten (the 5th was Ace of diamonds) then put them back on top, and dealt, ended up with the 6 of hearts.. wtq?
