The other OTHER watch thread

Inspired by too many watch threads.

I used to have a plastic watch band, but now after wearing leather for so long, I can't stand the way plastic feels.
So leather

I use any type, really. Depends on what the watch is.

Metal on the fossil watch, plastic on the timex. The plastic one is small and very comfortable.
I had a blog. It sucked.

Mine attaches by a cari-beener to one of my belt loops, and is upside down, so it looks right side up when I look at it.

I didn't think anyone else did that. That's exactly what I do. It's a crappy timex, so canvas.

Both my watches have metal bands. While not nearly as big a metal man as Gothix, I guess that indicates I might be a small metal fan, after all.

I've often been tempted to make a watch band out of fruit roll-ups or maybe an airhead once or twice. But then the thought of sticky arm-hair scares me. But a timed snack like that would be worth it? Would it not?

My watch broke. It had a rubbery strap. It was a GOOD watch. Yep. Good thing that old watch was.

I've never had a watch since. I should get one, I'm constantly missing the time and being late/early all the time.
