Surgery... again...

Another summer, another surgery. Phase two of a 3 part operation to contain the crap that's been annoying me with my leg for the past 6-7 years of my life.

Chance of "survival" is 100%, so I'm not worried about that, but there is a small (5-10%) chance that I may not heal, and have an open wound.

They're doing another resection of skin, this time on the upper portion (along with parts of my hip area) of my left leg, in hopes to remove the crappy skin that's got all sorts of "blebs" and other not-fun stuff on it.

This all goes down tomorrow morning, so if ya'll have any well wishes, vibes, or "hope you die" 's, let er rip.

Good luck! Make sure you use a marker to indicate which leg it is, so the doctors don't go to the wrong one.

best of luck! My mom just found out today that she's scheduled surgery at 7 am the day after tomorrow. And she also just found ut that they'd also be operating on her heel.

"okay so your surgery on friday..."
"oh, is it next friday?"
"um, this friday"
"...as in the day after tomorrow?"
"you didn't know?"
"uh...no"
"no one called you?"
"that would be a no"
oh! well yes - you're scheduled for your right heel and right wrist this friday at 7am"
"my heel too?"
"um. yes."
"oh. uh, well that's good to know"
"I suppose it is"
"...you should start buying from me. really, it's the least you can do for this little mix up. I'm broken and I have to put my 2 kids through college! My competitor has a car, a boat and no kids! pity me!"
"ma'am, you have no shame"
"ma'am, you didn't tell me when I was having surgery"

Also, I already said this to you, but best of luck with your surgery, Coolmatty. Gotta make sure my ISB writers are happy... <_<

Also, you might wanna look into breast enlargement as Kirby suggested... :rolleyes:

I will be bringing my laptop and PSP, so I will try to give you all up-to-the-minute reports on how it's going. Unfortunately, I will be knocked out for the surgery itself, so expect a full 3-4 hours of no-posting.

My last post will be about 5:30am tomorrow (6-22), and I'll try to say adios in the chat then. :D

The doctor said if I was awake, he'd refuse to operate on me. Something about being distracted and not wanting to talk about stupid crap for four hours.

T-Minus 3 hours now, I leave for the hospital in 20 minutes!
