Got my degree results, pending graduation I shall be a Master of Engineering with a 2.1 classification. Degree was in Computer Science and my approach to lectures and revision (studying) was laziness of legendary proportions, but somehow I managed to beat the system.

Depends on a) getting a job b) getting a life
Since I don't know what I want to do for (a) and I can't even get a life at university for (b) there's no risk for the moment.

Do a job search for software engineer and other supervisory type computer science jobs. After about 5 years, start making contacts with various vendors, and a couple of years later leave your job and start you're on consulting firm.

I've handled accounts for the company I work for. They generally pay their consultants between $100-$300 per hour, plus travel expenses, plus room & board, plus meals. Just something to consider.
