The laptop I used to have had a touch pad, but I plugged a mouse in, so both, I guess.

I'm on a laptop, and the touchpad is ****ing horrible, so I use a mouse.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

I use the touchpad when I'm on my laptop, I don't mind it. I figure what good is a laptop if you can't actually use it on your lap?

Desktop I use a mouse.

I voted everything, because I'm more or less comfortable with everything, but I prefer the mouse.

Heh, my brother told me that he plays Quake 3 with the touchpad.

For me, in order of preference: mouse, tablet, touchpad/nipple. Touchpad/nipple are tied.

Mice. I have a laptop in college, and there is no way in hell that I can play CS:S with a touchpad. Even word processing is significantly slower.

Tablet > mouse > Tab/enter with keyboard > Touchpad > Nipple

Order of preference:

1. Tablet when available
2. Mouse
3. Touchpad (My hand gets sweaty and makes it skip)
4. Nipple (Simply unwieldy)

I use my laptop only when I'm in bed so I use the touchpad. I tried using the mouse before but having to place the mouse on top of a box or right on top of the keyboard with the mouse pad between it was a bit annoying and having to unplug my mouse from my computer every night was a pain as well.
