Everyone here should know ho much of a POS my comp is. Well heres the thing, There is a computer in the other room with a video card twice as good as the one i have now. I know its nut much of a difference [4 megs to a WHOPING 8 WOW! :P ]. I need to know if the other computer can run properly if we switched the cards. all the other is used for is the internet, email an the accasional Jedi Knight game.

Assuming they use the same expansion sockets they will work fine (AGP, PCI (I'm assuming it's too low spec for PCIX (is that meant to be x or X? Or is it meant to be just Express?))).

I'm also assuming you know how to swap cards correctly.

PCI-X is a 64 bit PCI slot used on servers which is longer than the normal slot. PCI-E or Express is totally different.

And yes the transfer should be fine. Even if you break anything you should be able to replace the whole computer for, like, 25$.
