That's funny. Not overused, not disgusting, but funny. Only an internet elitist would think otherwise.

It's probably a VERY capable gaming machine. Dells' prices really aren't that bad anymore. I've had to construct a rig there a couple times for Kirby and I've noticed the prices, while definitely a bit off, aren't nearly as bad as they used to be.

Not the first time they've tapped into internet slang. I saved this one a few years ago because I found it funny:

That so makes me want to buy a Dell
2006-06-30, 8:58 AM #21
Who needs months/years of regularly gaming against skilled people, buy a Dell and you'll pwn them all! And you'll no longer be a llama to boot!

100 fps sucks in CoD2; 125 is what you need :|
2006-06-30, 2:26 PM #29
My brother says 'pwned' all the time... in real life. It's incredibly annoying because he thinks it's clever.
DO NOT WANT.
2006-06-30, 2:42 PM #30
125 fps? Don't tell me there's some crazy jump fps which is ideal, a la Quake 3 :psyduck:

I thought that sort of fps was impossible.

-And llama song.

Llama was pretty popular as internet slang ~4-5 years ago (and earlier, but that Dell add is about four years old), it is generally taken to mean newbie or lamer, especially in a gaming context.
2006-06-30, 3:18 PM #33
Llama was a popular internet insult until the term "noob" came around.

Yeah, haven't you guys ever played on CS servers that automatically change your name to "Llama" when your name is offensive or whatever.

I remember back when I used to play Team Fortress Classic, there was a admin mod that would allow admins to "cage" players that were being buttheads in a cage with "don't feed the llamas" on the side of it. It was pretty funny. Personally, I prefered the chicken mod for CS. Being turned into a chicken for an entire round was pretty hilarious :)
