What makes Uberfly so uber? Well, he has the body shape of a house fly, yet a size comparable to their larger cousins, the horse fly or deer fly.

Uberfly's statistics(estimated):
.63 in. (1.63 cm) from front to back
.3 in. (.76 cm) wide
.9 in. (2.29 cm) from wingtip to wingtip

I'm kind of curious really as to what species of fly that is. I've never seen one that big that looked like that before.

Heh, yes it's real. Took the picture from probably like two inches away from the thing.

Camera takes great pictures in macro shooting mode, after I realized that it focuses a lot better when it's not zoomed in.

Next step, kill it and put it on the bed of your scanner, then proceed to scan it at the highest possible resolution.
