I went out last night to purchase this book, but I wanted to see if it was worth the purchase so I sat down and read the first section 'A is for... A**-Kicking', I was hooked. Next thing I know I'm already at 'E is for... Enlightenment'. There were times that I couldn't help myself from laughing out loud and random people in the book store would turn and look at me. I quickly bring the book up to the counter and purchased it with a huge grin on my face.

The entire drive home I kept glancing at the book and thinking how I couldn't wait to finish it. I almost felt tempted to read the book while I drove, but then I realized how much I valued my life.

I got home around 8pm and I finished the book around 11pm. Without an ounce of doubt, I can say this is the most awesome book I have ever read in my entire life. You can't help but laugh from the books dedication page to the last page of 'Z is for... Zombies'. Not only is the text hilarious, but the pictures are as well. This book will not leave any Maddox fan dissapointed, and it might even convert some Maddox haters into fans.

Has anyone else read this book? Thoughts?

is it a book, or just each letter of the alphabet followed by some goofy paragraph?
[01:52] <~Nikumubeki> Because it's MBEGGAR BEGS LIKE A BEGONI.

I'll probably buy this week. I read a tiny bit of it, and I love it, but I've always loved Maddox... I don't think it will convert anybody.

If you like this, you will love "The Complete *******'s Guide To Handling Chicks". Probably the funniest (and most truthful) book I've read.
"I'm afraid of OC'ing my video card. You never know when Ogre Calling can go terribly wrong."

I might order this book from somewhere...we don't have it in Finland.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

It's each letter of the alphabet followed by about 10 pages or so on each letter. It's a 204 (209 with Foreword) page book, some parts are longer than others.

I have been a fan of Maddox's articles on his site, but I don't think I will buy the book. I might borrow it from the local library if they carry it.

Don't spend any money on it; it's amusing at best.

Looks like someone only wants to see certain opinions on the book.

Don't spend any money on it like you did, correct? Steal it, and then return it because it sucked so bad?
I had a blog. It sucked.

If you bothered to read the thread, he said he didn't steal it.

Well, that just goes to show either:

A. I suck at sarcasm and sarcastic humor

or

B. You fail at life and can't recognize even the most forward of sarcasm.
I had a blog. It sucked.

Zloc, that was a bad cover up. You thought he stole it, it wasn't sarcasm. We don't think less of you. :P

I don't care if you read the book and hated it, I just didn't want the Maddox haters in the thread that didn't even bother to READ the entire book.

Hey, it was a 50-50 chance for each answer. Just turns out I suck at sarcasm and sarcastic humor, that's all.

Damn, I was in Boston for his book signing tour, and I missed it. :(

My personal favorite section is "M is for Metal." The mosh pit descriptions are perfect.
