Melee: mid-air dodge, comes handy when someone throws a bat at you at high speeds (that, and there's more/cooler levels, more people, more game-modes, etc, etc)

Toughie, I prefer the control on the N64, but the variety in Melee.

64.

Plus, I don't have a gamecube and I hated a number of the levels in Melee anyway the few times I played them.

As far as character choices go though, melee wins there.

May the mass times acceleration be with you.
