Yeah.

I didn't not think the guy was even close to being 60 years old for some reason. I figured him to be in the late 40s or early 50s. O well. I guess it makes sense with presidents never being very close to the 35 minimum age requirement when they become president (being much older instead). Heck, even Clinton was...47 or so when he became president.

He's in really good shape for his age. He leads a healthy life, physically.

CBC radio had a hilarious bit this morning about Bush's birthday. I'll transcribe it the best I remember:

Aide: "Tony Blair sent you a birthday card, sir."
Bush: "Oooh, can you read it to me? Do that thing he does with his voice that makes him sound gay."
Aide: "That's a British accent sir. Also, it looks like Stephen Harper sent you a present."
Bush: "Who?"
Aide: "Stephen Harper. Your 12:30 meeting. You know, the prime minister of our neighbour to the north."
Bush: "Well tell this Stephen Harper that I don't want to see him until they get all that election stuff sorted out down there."
Aide: "He isn't the Mexican President sir."
Bush: "I know, not until they get all the votes counted up properly."
Aide: "Says here that North Korea tried to send you a present but it didn't get here."
Bush: "Aww, isn't that nice. We should find out when Kim Jong-Il's birthday is so I can send him a present. And I'll make sure it gets there. Ahhhhh... you know, I've lived quite a life. Been governor... president. I've been thinking of going for the trifecta. Get the job with the most power. Vice-president."
Aide: "Uhh sir, the president has the most power."
Bush: "Wait, I do? Hey... Dick..."
