I just got a raise at work. Actually everyone that works here did. Base pay is going from $8/hour to $9.25/hour. Plus bonuses. It's all very exciting.

i have ****loads of work coming for me next week. more money, huzzah. and i'm also handling alot more stuff at the store since one co-owner left and i'm basically the only guitarist left in the store, so yeah, handling strings, instructionnal books, amps and guitars. repairing too.

AND TEACHING, as always.

Close, Free. I'm actually a Business Sales Rep for T-Mobile. I take orders for new cell phone service for business and individuals who have corporate discounts through their workplaces. In addition to the hourly wage, I make a bonus for each line that I set up (usually make around 150 to 200 extra per pay period). Plus I get to sit around at a computer all day and I can play games or browse Massassi or whatever I want. Plus I can work as much OT as I want, so I usually put in about 50 hours a week.

I got a raise last week at one of my jobs, $15.00 to $18.00 an hour.

Oh, also before I forget, it's not good news for today, but hopefully soon, at work I'm going to receive forklift training and then can get a raise of my own. There's $3 in it for me if I manage the warehouse full-time. We have two assistant managers leaving for training next week, so they had better get the OSHA forklift training guy in soon, else it'll be one assistant manager and the store manager who refuses to man the forklift to operate it for the next three weeks. With trucks coming in every week, and trash to take out every other day (we take out huge boxes worth on pallets to the compactors), we need at least one more person with forklift training. So when that happens, I should be netting an extra $3/hour.
