I thought this would be about The Charge of the Light Brigade by Alfred, Lord Tennyson (which btw, is the most awesomest poem ever written.)

Here, I'll start.

Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Lassev: I guess there was something captivating in savagery, because I liked it.

All in the valley of Death
rode the six hundred.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

he was quoting 'us and them' -pink floyd

'Forward he cried from the rear
and the front rank died
And the General sat, as the lines on the map
moved from side to side'
The day i tried to live,
I hung out on the powerlines
and let the martyrs stretch.

Ford you fail. Obscure songs? This song is off of what most people consider to be the best album EVER created. This isn't just from fans, critics agree, and it is also one of the top selling albums of ALL TIME. Considering the band it is from, as well, I would say that obscure is the complete opposite of what I would call it.

Most people huh? I doubt most people have even heard the song, let alone recognize the lyrics.

I myself had to look them up so I could find out what the best album EVER created was.

Well, it ISN'T obscure. I mean, if it has almost the most sales out of any album ever, thats not obscure. Its the band that got me interested in music. A few years ago I didn't listen to music until I grabbed that CD off my perents shelf and listened to it, because the song Money was in The Italian Job (on Dark Side of the Moon).
