Right this is something frivilous that was brought to my attention in the chat earlier. Do you know what a budgie is?

there are people out there who dont know what a budgie is?

Because it seems so simple, this feels like a trick question. Do you mean the actual meaning of the word or some slang term? If it's some slang term then my answer is no.

It's the actual thing I mean, not the band form Wales or the helicopter.

I always thought it had something to do with the cartoon series of "Budgie The Small Helicopter". I loved that series back when I was a little (and innocent) kiddy.

Yep, I read 'budgerigar' from my armada of dictionaries around 1996 or so.

I think my family had few around 1990-1991 but I don't remember them. Only the cage.
