Canada Trip

Ok, so I just got back from my 2 week canoe trip in Canada.

Bottom line, it kicked ***.

The fishing was great and it tasted good too. Me and my friends had a great time.

The only bad part, no women.
Even a tree with a hole in it could look sexually attractive.

Anyways, here's some pics

We also passed through Duluth on the way there and back, which is where I believe JediKirby lives.

I'm don't know the exact route since my friend drove.

We started near Milwaukee, went thorugh Duluth, and then headed north to Quetico.

I did a similar trip eight years ago. It was awesome. The fishing was great.

I've been there. Twas much fun. You avoided moose county I hope. :p. And yes portages were a pain. We had to do a 1 mile plus portage. And double pack. And then there were the portages that could easily be mistaken for 10 year old deer trails. We also jumped from exceedingly high cliffs far way from any kind of medical assistance. Good times though.

Hahaha, that's what we did too. Once of the places we camped has some bad *** cliffs for jumping. We also sailed a few days too. Lashed our three canoes together, lashed up a mast, and used a tarp as a sail. A t-shirt between two canoe paddles works really well for a single canoe too.

Train of thought after jumping from 45 foot cliff: "Impact... c'mon impact... Maybe this wasn't such a good id-*whack!*" And then you feel a bit of pain and notice that water has been forced up every single orifice in your body. They you do it again.

Did you by any chance go to the smallish lake where there was a bid of a round rock over hang, so you could see the water till you had jumped away from the rock?

We saw one guy there who was an olympic diving coach and he did a bunch of tricks. Not to sort of think I'd do off of a big cliff. :P

Nope. That place is so damn big you could go there a hundred times and go somewhere new everytime.

Haha, I thought the same exact thing when I saw the picture. The water wasn't very deep there and I was standing on a rock that was barely submerged.

Good eye my friend :P
